Apaporis River
The river runs through the departments of Caqueta, Guaviare, Vaupés and Amazonas, and is so large that it continues to our neighboring country, Brazil. It is a powerful flow of great streams and waterfalls. There is a magical natural passageway formed by nature itself, the Apaporis Tunnel, huge rock walls through which the river flows, you can see the black walls.
It is considered a sacred place by the indigenous communities that inhabit the region. Full of great stories, wild nature free of any contamination.
El Raudal de Jirijirimo: Descending the Apaporis river we will find a stream of a beautiful landscape and unique beauty, the word means Cama del Güio, its width is hundreds of meters, they say it is the most beautiful waterfall in Colombia, you will contemplate the jungle in all its expression, the area is inhabited by Cabiyaris Indians.
Flora and fauna: It is a destination where endemic species of birds and flowers have been discovered so far. Aquatic boas and tapirs can be seen in the area.
Waterfalls: Cachivera Tigre, Cachivera Niqua and caño anaconda, in each one there will be a unique experience during the visit to each one will be totally different, even snake-shaped stones.

- Wear rubber boots, cotton clothing, long-sleeved waterproof shirts, flashlight, protective hat, insect repellent.

- Bring personal medications if you are undergoing medical treatment.
- Wear a poncho type plastic cape.
- It is advisable to carry a large backpack for all the luggage and not wheeled suitcases for the trips to the destination and the region, and a small backpack for the outings.
- It is very important to keep in mind that this is a trip to the jungle; it is a program of experiences to share with the indigenous communities, eat regional food and sleep in basic conditions in community cabins, so it is warned and clarified that there are no conditions for luxury services.
