Home » Coffee route
Over the years, our country has been working to change its image and to be recognized as a destination that grows, exports and enjoys the the smoothest coffee in the world.
The story takes us back approximately 300 years ago, thanks to a Jesuit priest and his penitences they put the parishioners to sow the seed of coffee this legend occurred in the department of Santander, for this reason that in Colombia you can make a tour of different departments focusing on the coffee farms.
The coffee produced in Colombia is 100% Arabica, and requires specific geographical conditions because the crop requires soil conditions, temperature, atmospheric precipitation and altitude.
The regions for your specialized travel will be the majority of the country, in the Andean region, Caribbean, Pacific, part of the plains, most of them with denomination of origin. It will be a tour like the one you can do in Chile or Argentina, with the difference that in Colombia you will have an approach to rural tourism, with farmers, coffee growers, and inhabitants of the farms where you make the tour and enjoy in each place of its gastronomy.
